Machine shop
Precision numerical lathe
- Precision: 1 micron
- Twelve automatically exchangable tools
- Mainly used for corrugated feedhorn mandrel fabrication

- Precision less than 1 micron
- Sixteen automatically exchangable tools
- Mainly used for the fabrication of highest frequency waveguide- and optical components up to 1500 GHz
2 high precision numerical milling machines
- Three axis controlled
- Precision: 4 microns
- Each equipped with 20 position tool changer
- Used for the fabrication of all kinds of radiometer components
4 micro lathes
- Precision: 1 micron
- Used for the fabrication of smallest coaxial filters (down to 50 microns in diameter)
Clean room facility (class 100) for space applications
- Class 10.000 (entire room, 20 sqm)
- Two flowboxes with class 100
- Fully ESD protected
- Climate control (temperature and humidity)

Electro-plating (galvanic) facility
- Four Gold-plating solutions
- Two Copper plating solutions
- One Nickel plating solution

- Plating is performed under clean-room conditions
Climate chamber
- Temperature operating range: -30 ºC to +50 ºC
- Cooling power 1.3 kW
- Heating power 3 kW
- Complete thermal stabilization for long term environmental testing
- Cycling from +50 °C to -30 °C and vice versa within two hours
- Used for environmental testing of RPG-LWP radiometers and RPG-HATPRO profilers
Electronics workshop
- Complete development and testing of circuit boards in-house
- CAD software for multi-layer routing
- Prototyping of newly developed circuits
- Fabrication of complete electronic equipment
High frequency laboratory
- RF testing equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscillators, detectors, etc) up to 300 GHz
- Twelve microscopes for assembly and inspection of high frequency components
- Bonding tool (assembly of planar structures like MMICs and in-house developed RF circuits)
- Three-axis precision positioning tools
- Test equipment for elecronic component verification
